Did you know a Marysville and Tulalip community coalition works to address alcohol and substance abuse among youth in the Maryville and Tulalip communities? United Stories, a Community Wellness Coalition, in partnership with the Marysville School District, the City of Marysville, The Tulalip Tribes, and other local organizations, is committed to building a safe and healthy community.
As part of the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI), the Coalition needs your help to learn your thoughts on underage drinking and substance abuse in Marysville and Tulalip. The Coalition has launched its annual community questionnaire to gather input to help guide its work to develop effective substance abuse prevention, youth support programs, and initiatives for Marysville and Tulalip.
Please take a moment to complete the questionnaire by November 3, 2023.

Broken Water Line Update for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary School, 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, Tulalip Heritage High School, and the School to Home Partnership Program:
Families, We have great news! Students and staff can return to their schools tomorrow! After the major water line break, we have been given the all-clear on the repairs and testing of the water and systems. Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and understanding as our students, staff, and families made the necessary changes to ensure teaching and learning continued during the shutdown. We are excited to see our students and staff back in their schools tomorrow!
Broken Water Line Update for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary School, 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, Tulalip Heritage High School, and the School to Home Partnership Program: We are providing an update on the status of the water line break and the impacts of holding school on the campuses. The City notified the District that the follow-up work needed to ensure the repair is fixed and water is tested will not be completed today or over the weekend as initially anticipated, so we cannot have in-person school at the campuses on Monday. Each school will continue with the current plan for Monday: Remote learning for 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, Tulalip Heritage High School, and SHoPP, and in-person school at the Tulalip Boys and Girls Club for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary. Families will receive updates directly from their child's schools.
Due to the issues with the water main we are rescheduling our Family/Community Breakfast to Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Tulalip Heritage High School from 8-9:15 a.m.
This is an opportunity to meet staff and build community.
Hope to see you there.
Thanks Heritage Staff

Hello Community,
I wish I was reaching out with better news. It looks like they are making good progress on the water issue, however, the timeline continues to be pushed out. As a result, we will have to extend Remote Learning yet another day. I can speak for all of our staff, we miss our students. Please remind students that attendance is important and logging on will aid them in being successful students at Tulalip Heritage High School. Here is Monday's schedule:
Both the Youth Center and Boys and Girls Club have available workspaces for community and internet connectivity. Also, some staff will be on site from 8-10 a.m. for any student who needs materials, etc.
10/2/2023: Monday
8:00-8:45 - Open Meet: Open for questions and support: https://meet.google.com/qcf-dgsk-nte
8:25-9:30 - Advisory
9:35-10:40 - Workshop 1
10:45-11:50 Workshop 2
11:55-12:25 Lunch

Also, if all goes well, we will be holding a Family Breakfast 8:00-9:15 on Wednesday 10/4/2023:
Opening Prayer, drumming and song will start the event.
Families are invited to join us for breakfast.
This is a community-building event, with the sole objection to meeting staff and being together.
We will keep you posted as soon as we know.
