Broken Water Line Update for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary School, 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, Tulalip Heritage High School, and the School to Home Partnership Program: We are providing an update on the status of the water line break and the impacts of holding school on the campuses. The City notified the District that the follow-up work needed to ensure the repair is fixed and water is tested will not be completed today or over the weekend as initially anticipated, so we cannot have in-person school at the campuses on Monday. Each school will continue with the current plan for Monday: Remote learning for 10th Street Middle School, Legacy High School, Tulalip Heritage High School, and SHoPP, and in-person school at the Tulalip Boys and Girls Club for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary. Families will receive updates directly from their child's schools.

Due to the issues with the water main we are rescheduling our Family/Community Breakfast to Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Tulalip Heritage High School from 8-9:15 a.m.
This is an opportunity to meet staff and build community.
Hope to see you there.
Thanks Heritage Staff

School is canceled today for Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary, 10th Street Middle, Legacy and Tulalip Heritage High Schools. There is no water due to a broken water main. We cannot hold school with no running water. We anticipate the breakage to be repaired today by the City and school to resume tomorrow on a normal schedule. For students who are already on a bus, transportation is coordinating a plan to return students home.

We will be having our first Leaving to Learn trip tomorrow. We will be departing Heritage at 9:30 a.m. and walking to Hibulb, returning around 1 p.m. Please make sure your student turns their FIELD TRIP PERMISSION SLIP to the office with parent signatures. Without this form, they will not be able to attend. Also, our entire school will be leaving and there will not be anyone on campus after 9:30 am. Thanks!

PSAT/NMSQT Testing is coming up on October 25, 2023
PSAT/NMSQT stands for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which students take as a sophomore or junior. High enough marks on the PSAT/NMSQT as a junior can help a student land a National Merit Scholarship, which can mean money for college.
This test is optional for Juniors. Sophomores can take it if they'd like to, but will not qualify for a scholarship. Sophomores will be required to take the free PSAT in the spring
The cost to take this test is $18.00
Please contact Savanna Decota at 360-965-2807 to sign up no later than Sept. 15, 2023
