Congratulations, Tulalip Heritage Class of 2024 graduates!

Dr. Lisa Gonzales, Executive Director of Finance and Operations, was hired by the Marysville School District in July 2023. On May 31, 2024, the district announced that her employment contract would end on June 30, 2024, and she would not be returning to the district.
On June 3, 2024, the Marysville School District received a written statement drafted by Dr. Lisa Gonzales. In the statement, Dr. Gonzales makes several allegations about the district, its fiscal and human resources operations, and other staff-related areas. The allegations are under review.
The district, committed to transparency and accountability, takes allegations like these very seriously. In line with this commitment, an outside investigator will conduct an investigation to examine the allegations and Dr. Gonzales's other comments thoroughly.

UPDATE: The Shoultes Elementary Graduation Walk for the Class of 2024 Seniors, scheduled for today at 2:30, has been postponed. Please stay tuned for an updated date.

RE: School House Cafe
The School House Cafe at Totem Middle School has been lovingly sought out among families, staff, and community members for several years. Unfortunately, the cafe could not open this school year due to dated, failing kitchen ventilation equipment and the inability to obtain and install the parts needed to make repairs. The district is actively working to remedy this situation.
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) department oversees the cafe's day-to-day operations and knows this has disappointed community members and staff alike. CTE's goal is to ensure that the facilities are in the best possible condition and the program is fully staffed to provide its customers with high-quality service and the outstanding service everyone deserves and has come to expect at the School House Cafe.
The educational program for culinary arts students continued during the cafe's closure, with students participating in other options, such as catering, to further their education and skills.
The program began wrapping up in May as students completed their current projects. The Marysville School District and the CTE department look forward to the School House Cafe's full operation this fall.
Thank you for your continued support and patronage of the School House Cafe!
🎓 Attention Class of 2024: You are invited to visit your elementary school to be honored this year! Show up in your cap and gown at the date and time listed. 🎓

The Marysville School District In-District Transfer Process opens on February 1, 2024. Go to https://www.msd25.org/page/student-transfer-information for details. While it is always recommended to enroll your child in your resident area (neighborhood/boundary) school, we do understand that, at times, circumstances exist that create the need to enroll in a school outside of your resident area school.
Following this process is a request for a change in your student's school placement. Transfers are primarily based on space availability. The request is not a guarantee of placement.
