Friday, March 13: Although schools are closed today, the offices will be open to serve families until 1:00 pm in case there is a need to pick up student belongings. Teachers are not at schools today. Watch for more information in the daily update later today.

Tulalip Boys and Girls Club, Teen Center, and the Betty J. Taylor ELC is closed tomorrow, March 12 and will remain closed through next week. Parents of students who attend the Boys and Girls Club or Teen Center will need to drop off and pick up their child at school.

The Future Chef event planned for March 19 is canceled
In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19, the Marysville School District has canceled all scheduled events that occur outside of the school day. The District's Child Nutrition Services staff will continue to work with our schools and partners for future planning for the Future Chefs event.
We would like to thank our students, staff, and partners for the time and effort put into planning thus far and for their continued work with students and schools to provide opportunities where each and every student and their families feel welcomed and supported.
The District continues to closely monitor this rapidly evolving health concern and will continue to follow the guidelines of the Snohomish Health District.


Pinewood and Sunnyside Elementary Schools and Marysville Getchell High School look forward to welcoming students back to school Monday, 3/9. All schools are operating on a normal schedule.

Marysville School District Accepting Applications for Vacant School Board Position
The Marysville School Board will be accepting applications to replace the position of Marysville School District, District 5 Board Director, serving the areas of Sunnyside and Allen Creek Elementary. State law requires the remaining school board members to appoint a replacement within 90 days. The appointed board member will serve until the next regularly scheduled school board election in Fall 2021.

Buses will operate on their normal routes on 3/6 to transport students to school and home. Transportation will not be impacted by the closure of Pinewood, Sunnyside, or MGHS.

Pinewood Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, and Marysville Getchell High School are CLOSED Friday, 3/6/20 for disinfecting. This is out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of students, families, and staff.

The District credit card readers have been restored. Payments can now be accepted online. The readers were out of commission since this past Thursday.

The Marysville Pilchuck High School boys basketball game today (2/29/20) at 2:00 pm has been moved to Shorewood High School: 17300 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133. (The game was previously scheduled at Jackson High School).

Marysville School District credit card readers are down districtwide due to technical difficulties with the processing vendor. We are unable to accept credit cards or online payments until further notice. We apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you!


March 13 is a school make up day! School will be in session following the Friday early release schedule.
