Good News! Free Meals Program Extended
The USDA recently passed a waiver to extend the free meals program into the fall. This extension means that our school district will be able to continue to provide free meals for all children ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in our online and 18 - 21-year old programs. This good news significantly impacts our program and the ways we can provide meal services for children. We had recently shared that the free meal program had ended and adjusted the way that meals would be available. With the new extension, we are now working on developing our meal distribution procedure for the start of school and into the fall. It will be different from the spring and the summer in some ways, but most importantly, we will be able to continue to provide free meals for children. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
Technology Plan - Phase 2: Middle School Chromebook collection and distribution is this week - see schedules at www.msd25.org. If your 6th grader has a LENOVO Chromebook you do not need to return it for replacement. If it is not a Lenovo Chromebook, please return the device and the charger following the published schedule. The Summer Meal Program is up and running 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday through Friday until August 14! Kids and teens and those enrolled in the 18 - 21 program eat free. No sign up required. Go to https://www.msd25.org/article/262087?org=district for more information.

The City of Marysville will hold a drive up mask distribution for low-income families and people in need at City Hall, 1049 State Ave., on Wed., July 8, and Thurs., July 9, from 10:00 am to Noon and 2:00 - 4:00 pm each day while supplies last. Masks were donated by the state.
The Marysville School District Educational Service Center will be closed July 1 - 10, 2020. We will reopen on Monday, July 13, at 9:00 am. Have a happy and safe 4th of July.
