The Marysville School District is excited to announce two upcoming school plays bound to captivate and entertain audiences of all ages. Students from different schools within the District have been working tirelessly to bring these productions to life, and we hope you’ll join us to see their hard work pay off on stage.

Coming soon to Marysville: Cedarcrest Middle School Drama Club presents “Shrek the Musical (Jr.)” at Cedarcrest on March 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. and March 23rd at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Cedarcrest Drama teacher Darren Oke directs this witty comedy based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and Broadway musical. The hilariously fun production about “everyone’s favorite ogre” is a must-see. Tickets are $8 through March 19th and $9 at the door. More information about the showings is available HERE

Next month, Marysville High Schools Drama Club will present  “Grease the Musical: School Edition” on April 18th through 20th and 25th through 27th at 7 p.m. Marysville Pilchuck Drama teacher Roy Klementsen, with the assistance of Darren Oke, directs the entertaining 1950s-themed production. A cast and crew comprised of students from Marysville Pilchuck and Marysville Getchell will surely give audiences a rock ‘n’ roll fun time! Tickets are $9 at presale or $12 at the door and $10 for seniors and students with ASB. The Drama Club invites attendees to check out a classic car show in the auditorium parking lot at 4 p.m. on April 20th. More information about the production and car show is available HERE.

We encourage everyone in the Marysville and Tulalip community to come out and support our talented students as they showcase their skills and creativity on stage. Tickets for both plays can be purchased at the door or during a presale for reduced pricing. You won’t want to miss these unforgettable performances!
