MGHS Future Business Leaders of America had 5 qualifying competitors that participated in the National Leadership Competition in Atlanta, GA, from June 28 - June 30. It is always an honor to be part of the Washington delegation and a huge achievement for our students to be top in our state. This event hosted 13,000 competitors and advisors from Middle and High School levels in over 70 competitive events. Students also had the opportunity to meet with college representatives and business professionals and attend workshops about leadership, higher education, and industry expectations.
This year Marysville Getchell had 2 students achieve awards in the top 10 in the nation in their events. Please congratulate Gabriella Samaniego 5th place in Graphic Design and Sabrina Neal 7th place in Publication Design. MG was also represented by Claire Michal in Public Speaking, Adrianne Albertson in Future Business Leader, and Cheyanne Markle in Client Service. This is an amazing and difficult achievement; these ladies worked very hard and did an outstanding job in their events. Congratulations students!! We are so proud of you!
