Marysville Toyota Donates Engine and Stand to Automotive Program
Marysville Toyota generously donated an engine and brand-new stand to the Marysville Pilchuck High School automotive program.

On the morning of November 22, 2023, representatives from Marysville Toyota Brent Mareno and Jim Colon generously donated a new Toyota engine and engine stand to the Automotive Program located at Marysville Pilchuck High School. “We truly appreciate this donation as it will support and enhance the learning of the incredible students in the program,” said Ryan Beatty, Director of College and Career Readiness.

The Automotive Program, taught by Mr. Chuck Nichols, and other Career and Technical Education programs offered in the Marysville School District prepare students for the workforce by teaching technical employment skills valuable to employers like Marysville Toyota.

Our community partnership with Marysville Toyota and other local businesses connects our students to jobs post-graduation. For example, Marysville Toyota employee and Marysville Pilchuck High School graduate Jonathon (pictured fourth from left below), who assisted with the engine delivery, was a student in the Automotive Program.
