Dear Marysville Getchell Families,
On February 23, 2022, the Marysville School District Board of Directors adopted two resolutions that ask Marysville and Tulalip voters to reconsider two replacement levy measures on April 26. These revised measures reflect the feedback that the school district received from our community. Successful passage of levies is critical for the educational programs and services students receive including extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, music, and the arts, access to technology along with the maintenance of the facilities where students learn and grow.
The replacement levies have a combined lower tax rate that reduces the burden of cost to taxpayers by .87 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value.
During the month of March, community round table discussions are scheduled for each Board of Director district area. Come and meet school district leadership staff and our area board member to learn more about the levy measures, costs, funding, and impacts on Monday, March 28th at 7:30pm.
We look forward to seeing you!
To learn more about the replacement levy measures, go to https://www.msd25.org/page/levy-and-capital-levy-2022.

The PSAT assessment is taking place March 1st & the SAT assessment is taking place Wednesday, March 2nd. All Sophomores have been registered to take the PSTA and all Juniors have been registered to take the SAT. Testing will take place in the Gym on the MGHS campus. Check-in will begin on the morning of testing at 6:45 in the E/F Commons and the test will start at 7:15 promptly. Testing should end around 12:00. A sack lunch will be offered to all students who signed up for one. To help students prepare for the SAT there are Student Guide books. If you are full-time running start, you can stop by the Getchell campus to pick up their booklet from the cashier in the E/F Commons or go to collegeboard.org to download a copy. Please remind your student to leave their backpacks, bags, cell phones or any other electronics at home or in their cars as they are not permitted in the testing room. Students must bring the following with them on test day:
An acceptable calculator (for use only on sections that permit its use)
Suggested: Extra batteries and a backup calculator. Testing staff will not provide batteries or calculators for test taker use. Students may not share a calculator with another test-taker. Students can find more information about acceptable calculators at collegeboard.org.
Students may also bring a snack and drinks which will be stored in the E/F Commons until appropriate breaks.
Lunch will not be offered until the end of testing so remember to eat a healthy filling breakfast the morning of testing. Please communicate to your student that it is important to be present on the days of testing. Thank you and have a good day.
