The focus of this session will be a discussion of 2018-2019 school year Elective Options as well as AVID Information.
We will be holding a morning and an evening session:
Wednesday, February 28
9:30-10:30 AM and
7:00-7:45 PM

Outstanding Educator and Golden Acorn Nominations (sponsored by our PTSA)
The Outstanding Educator Award was created by the PTSAs to recognize individuals who have gone beyond the normal expectations of their job to make outstanding contributions to enhance the education of children.
The Golden Acorn Award is for a person who has given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community.
Nomination forms are available in the school's main office. Completed nominations are due March 15, 2018.
Semester 1 report cards are being sent home today, February 1st, with all students.
A copy of this report card is also available in Family Access under the Portfolio tab.

Girls 7th and 8th grade basketball and 7th and 8th grade wrestling begin on Tuesday, Jan 16!Tryouts and practice will be after school until 5:00. To participate, students must have the online forms completed. A paper copy of a physical and Grade Check forms are due at tryouts. See you there!

Cedarcrest Drama's fall play, "Inn-Cognito", performs this week! There are 3 performances, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 pm. The cast members can't wait for you to come join them as they explore the mysteries of an old hotel and its unusual guests!
Wednesday 11/22 is an early release day at 12:50PM.
Progress Reports are coming home with students today. They can also be viewed through Family Access. Progress Reports are saved as an attachment under the Portfolio tab. Contact Mrs. VanBeek in the Registrar's office for Family Access log in information.

We hope you can join us for our Fall Conferences this week. Conferences will be held in a open arena forum in our gym on Wednesday from 1-3pm and again from 4:50-6:50pm. We will also hold conferences on Thursday from 1-3pm. Please remember that students have early release at 12:20 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. In addition to our conferences, we are holding a Parent University session on Wednesday from 9-10am and again from 6-7pm. PTSA is also holding a Book Fair in the library this week, so be sure to stop by! PTSA will be providing dinner for the teachers on Wednesday during the break between conferences. If you are interested in making a dessert donation, please drop it by the school Wednesday before 2pm. Thank you!
