The following information is being shared on behalf of Legacy PTSA. This event is not a school sponsored event. It is organized by Legacy PTSA and senior parents. 

Adopt-A-Senior Facebook Group

Kim Gleason and Linda Knight originally created this when Covid turned the 2020/2021 Senior year upside down. They have graciously and thankfully allowed us to continue it on and to take over organizing it this year. In years past it was mainly Marysville-Pilchuck and Marysville-Getchell that had participated. This year we are making sure all of Marysville's Seniors including those from Legacy, Heritage, and MOL Students/Families are able to participate.

How does this work?

1. Join the Facebook group via this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/456942832915375/

2. Add a picture of your graduating Marysville School District Senior or a Senior you know to be adopted and spoiled throughout their Senior Year!

Add a picture with the following info:

Name, School, Interests, Fun Facts/Future Plans, Likes/Dislikes

**Make sure to add at the top of your post: Senior not yet adopted/Senior Adopted

This will show who needs to be adopted and whos already been adopted.

3. Adopt a Senior! Please adopt only 1 Senior. Last year we had several Seniors who didn't get adopted until the very last minute and therefore were not celebrated. We want this to be fair and to include everyone.

4. Gifting: When you are gifting, decide how often you would like to send a gift to your Senior. Ex. The 23rd of every month for their graduation year Some people do BIG things on Holidays, Birthdays or other special occasions. Whatever you do, make it special!

Gift Ideas: Purchase 2023 Yearbook, Coffee Cards, Gift cards to their favorite place to eat, Gas cards, Senior Shirts, Senior Grad night Tickets, and Gift Baskets. Really up to you, something to let your Senior know they are being celebrated!!

5. There is no self-promotion allowed: Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed. We want to highlight the PTSA's, School fundraisers, and Booster Clubs for sales.
