Marysville Online

Did you choose Marysville Online? Here are your next steps:

September 3, 3030

Students registered for Marysville Online, the full-time online learning program through Edgenuity, will be contacted by someone from their neighborhood elementary or middle school, or assigned high school, to set an individual meeting with the assigned teacher, counselor, or administrator. The purpose of this first meeting will be to learn more about the program and to complete an individual Student Learning Plan.

During this time, there will be specific steps to follow to complete the registration process:

Elementary School Process

Students enrolled in the Elementary version of Marysville Online will be contacted during the week of September 9 - 11 by an assigned teacher or administrator from your neighborhood school to set up an introductory conference.  This conference will include the development of an individual Student Learning Plan.

Middle School Process

Students in middle school should report online to their school of record and follow their schedule until they are able to meet with a staff member. During this meeting, the student, guardian, and Marysville School District staff member will work together to determine the online courses for the year.

When the student has completed this process, the student and guardian will be ready to meet with a Marysville Online teacher to develop a student learning plan and to sign up for classes.

Once we have met with all students to determine courses, we will then make appointments to complete the student learning plans. This may take a few days.

Students must have a completed student learning plan AND be assigned to the Edgenuity platform before they can start their courses on Marysville Online. We will start each student with two courses and can add additional courses if the student/guardian requests more.

High School Process

Students in high school should report online to their school of record and follow their schedule until they are able to meet with a staff member. During this meeting, the student, guardian, and Marysville School District staff member will work together to determine the online courses for the year. High school students must complete a graduation requirement checklist to determine which classes are needed to make progress towards graduation.

When the student has completed this process, the student and guardian will be ready to meet with a Marysville Online teacher to develop a student learning plan and to sign up for classes.

Once we have met with all students to determine courses, we will then make appointments to complete the student learning plans. This may take a few days.
