- Congratulations
to Chris Mischenko for making WMEA
All State Honor Band. Chris was selected out of 50 applicants from the
MPBand and out of over 2700 applicants state wide to fill one of 8 horn
slots in the All State Honor Band.
- Nine of our
finest musicians will be joining the
Seattle Symphony's Pacific Northwest Community Orchestra in Celebrating
Courageous Dreamers on Saturday, November 14th at 11:15 at the Museum
of Flight. Pacific Northwest Community Orchestra will celebrate the
40th Anniversary of the flight of Apollo 12. Astronauts Alan Bean, Dick
Gordon, and Pete Conrad’s widow, Nancy Conrad, will be
honored
guests at this event.
- Marching
Tomahawks tied for 2nd in the Auburn
Veteran's Day Parade, placed 5th in the Auburn Marching Band Competiton
and 8th in the overall Sweepstakes out of 23 high school bands on
November 7th.
