Jazz
Ensemble is a year-long Zero
hour class, open to any student with middle school experience playing a
wind
instrument. Music performed by these advanced ensembles will emphasize
swing,
Latin, and some popular styles. Students will develop advanced
improvisation
techniques, jazz history, and theory. This ensemble will attend many
jazz
festivals throughout the state, both in and outside the school day.
