Last month Quil Ceda and Tulalip Elementary School was named runner-up for the prestigious Learning Forward Shirley Hord award (https://sites.google.com/a/msvl.k12.wa.us/msd_home/in-the-news/quilcedaandtulalipreceivenationalrecognition). The schools were also featured in the Learning Forward’s national staff development magazine and recognized at the recent national conference in which a group of Quil Ceda and Tulalip’s teachers and leaders were invited to attend and present. Ellen Holmes, Senior Policy Analyst for the National Education Association and conference participant shared “your Marysville teachers and leaders have been making a huge and positive impression here at the Learning Forward national conference. The executive director of Learning Forward has highlighted them as well as two other keynote speakers. Their sessions were highly attended and highly rated.
