In August of 2018, the Marysville School District Board of Directors made a decision to move to feeder pattern boundaries for the two comprehensive high schools; Marysville Getchell High School and Marysville Pilchuck High School. A committee comprised of parents, community members, staff, and students began meeting in March of 2019 and met more than a dozen times to eventually make a recommendation. The "Enrollment Demographics Committee" (EDC) convened to study enrollment and demographic trends in schools across the District. The committee was charged by the Board of Directors with creating feeder boundaries, kindergarten through twelfth grade, for the two comprehensive high schools; Marysville Getchell and Marysville Pilchuck. On December 9, 2019, the committee's recommendation was presented to the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors would like to share the committee recommendations more broadly for each level of school; elementary, middle, and high, and hear your input and thinking.
